One of my absolute favorite shows right now is “Insecure” on HBO. The main character and Executive Producer, Issa Rae manages to evoke true emotions regarding her relationship with her ex-boyfriend (now), Lawrence. I literally sit there and watch the show and think “I would so feel that way if I was in that situation.”
I have been a long time fan of Issa’s since “The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl” days on YouTube. My family and I would crack up at each and every episode. I believe our favorite character was “Darius” (the whisper dude)………..ha, ha, ha. I am cracking up now at the thought of him.
