My definition of “Tomboy chic” is a unisex look with “girly-girl” undertones. For example, wearing a crop top with boyfriend jeans complimented with a pair of Adidas or a button down shirt, skinny jeans and your favorite pair of heels.
Tomboy chic was extremely popular in the 1990’s and I remember one of my favorite outfits was my ultra baggy Cross Colours jeans with the shirt to match and a pair of Wild Pair boots.
The look hasn’t changed much over the past 20 years; however, I have noticed it is a little bit more dressed up and feminine, wouldn’t you agree?
