Remember Jody Watley? 1/3 of the R&B group Shalamar. The singer who was married to Andre Cymone. The same Andre Cymone who grew up with Prince? Yeah, that Jody Watley.
She was one of my fashion icons growing up. (I believe I have petticoats in my closet now because of her influence) I wanted to dress JUST LIKE her. A black corset, black fluffy petticoat, huge hoop earrings, stockings and a pair of patent leather booties.
……and her hair was #everything to me……..wait, it still is. 🙂
