ChalleBrown Style Corner: Where to Shop

Often times people will come up to me and say “Hey, I love your style. Where do you shop for your clothes?”. My response is generally “Everywhere” because the person may not really want know all the places.  A few stores at best.

Well, truth is I do shop “Everywhere” but I am brand loyal to where I purchase my clothes. If I like your product, whether it’s a unique boutique, Goodwill or a designer store, I will patronize it forever.
Here are some of my favorite spots (in no particular order):

Nordstrom Rack

Nordstrom Rack has all the designer clothing like Free People, Michael Kors, DKNY and others for 50%-75% off. I found a pair of wide leg Free People jeans for $44.00. (How cool is that?) Plus their jewelry is DYNOMITE!!! (in my JJ from Good Times voice).

Vintage Shops

I have a favorite store in my hometown that I frequent quite often because I find some of the best 70’s maxi dresses.  I visit the shop so much the owner gave me a honorary coupon for 20% off.

Forever 21
Forever21.1
Okay, so who doesn’t shop at Forever 21? (crickets….)

Goodwill

Good store. Good prices. With a little effort, you can find the perfect pair of designer jeans for a mere $4.29.

Etsy

I generally shop Etsy online as a treat to myself.  Some of their items can be a little pricey but the benefit is you receive a “one of a kind” outfit and you’re supporting an independent designer.
