I still sing the “Rebecca Black” song in my head on Fridays and even extend the word “Fryyyyyyyyy-day, Frrryyyyyyy-day” in my mind. Ha!!!
Anyway, “Happy Friday“.

Here lately I have been a little bit more motivated in taking my own photos for my blog. I guess it’s like a challenge that I feel I must overcome.
Each time I go to a site to take photos, I think to myself “Will this post be inspirational to someone?” and I pray to God for help. Him & I, we are like a team. 🙂

The “E True Personal Blog Story!” behind #OOTD posts are they sometimes have to happen quick. Sometimes, you are about to leave with kids in the car and you’re all like “Hurry up and take this picture so I can post it”. #noliestold
The reason I wanted to post this jumpsuit is that I have been waiting for a few months for this Free People Color My World jumpsuit to go on sale. I saw it originally in the Free People store but when I checked online and it was nearly 50% off at Macy’s, well, I just had to have it. I consider these types of situations as blessings. #thankful
Happy Friday!!!! I am about to be so transparent. My blog dues came up for renewal recently and I thought “Hmmm, I should probably just let this go.”
I have been blogging for many years as a hobby with minimal success, if any……but a still, small voice says to me “Keep Going”. I talk to God alot and so I “Keep Going”. Not sure if this blog is even helping someone but I hope so. Fashion Blogging is not just a show and tell but to inspire.
Anyway, the above sounds a little bit like rambling so I am going to go on to what I am wearing in the pictures. I have had these striped pants for a couple of years and thought about a different way to wear them…………enter a scarf from my closet that I tucked into a strapless bra and “Voila!!” my #ootd
Yep, this is one of those thrift store finds that you have to use your inner “fashion blogger/designer/spidey senses” to see the hidden gem.
When I initially saw this coat it was extremely wrinkled and worn. I loved the color and thought I could create so many cute outfits from this one coat so I took it to the cleaners and “Viola”, total cuteness.
Everyone has that favorite pair that fits just right. These jeans right here………..right here??? Yeah, one of my favorite things in my closet. 🙂
Day 2: I slashed, bleached and cut all into these jeans a couple of years ago……it’s been so long ago that these very jeans may now be considered #vintage. Anyway, this is what I love about DIY distressed denim. There is no proper way. Just be free.
The shirt is somewhat of a DIY project too as I did not like the sleeves so I cut them and the boots are from Journeys.

Next month is my birthday month and just like every September “I try” to do the “30 days of fashion” challenge; however, life’s responsibilities get all in the way. I need to talk to God about this whole adult thing…………lol.
Anyway, I took some test photos after work today and besides the shoes, this is a typical work outfit.
I guess you could say I do the “30 Days of Fashion” to show real-time my wardrobe. Here’s hoping this year it is a success. 🙂
