The little 7 year old boy named Cameron (pictured in the photos) knows he has his mother’s heart. The best way I can explain it is in a math equation.
Cameron recently had to start wearing glasses. Within the first week, he lost his glasses 6,754 times and I threatened him with a spanking all 6,754 times. How many spankings do you think said little boy received? Solve for x.
A mother’s love. Happy New Year.

My boyfriend and I are going to the movies tonight so I decided to dress a little casual.
The top portion of this dress was a little old fashioned (even for me) so I covered it with a tank.
Tanks tops and basic t-shirts are a closet essential as you can pair it with just about anything.
Tank: Wet Seal
Maxi Dress: Forever 21
Whew!!! It’s been such a heat wave in my “neck of the woods” so this dress was perfect for the weather.
I bought it online here and let me just say Vici Dolls is my new favorite store. They have the best selection of maxi and wrap dresses. ❤

To me there is no wrong way to wear a maxi dress. I mean it’s about the easiest outfit to coordinate in your closet……simply slip one on, add a necklace and Boom, “You’re all cute”; however, during the fall/winter months, I try to layer my maxis to keep warm.
The easiest way I have found to layer a maxi (especially if it’s a summer maxi) is with tights and a turtleneck. You can add a denim or biker jacket with a cute knit scarf for added warmth or try complimenting the outfit with a faux fur for a more glamorous look.
The key is to keep the layers simple. No one wants to walk out the house looking like the “Abominable Snowman”. 🙂
I bought this dress at Altar’d State. I was not familiar with the store until I traveled to KY. I found out it’s a Christian store that is in the same family as Anthropologie and Free People so of course it was love at first sight.
Happy Friday!!!! This maxi dress makes me happy because it’s another one of my vintage finds from Broad Ripple Vintage. They don’t have an online store but if you ever have an opportunity to visit Indianapolis, this store is a “must see”. Their prices are awesome and the owner always offers discounts.
Tonight I am taking my oldest to a college fair so I decided to wear something comfy to work to prevent the need to change out of my “Work Clothes”.
The denim jacket is thrifted and the dress I bought on sale at Macy’s. They have the best sales.
