As much as I try to take pictures in the daytime, I promise as soon as I get off work the weather does its very best to work against me. #sigh
Anyway, with the exception of the boots purchased from Shein , this outfit was a total thrift store find.
The dress is Norma Komali (I was so excited when I found this gem). This was the same day I found a Prada purse at Goodwill, too.
Now that I think about it, this was also the same day I won $23 from scratch offs. My boyfriend swears I won more than $23 based off my thrift store finds………(ha!!!)
The weekends are generally family time. The boys and I watch movies, cook scrumptious snacks and just hang out and relax.
After conquering household chores (because the laundry, sock and dust monsters all live in my house), I generally go out grocery shopping
I bought these jeans from Goodwill and did my own DIY on them with a bucket of bleach and a paint brush.
The shoes are from GoJane.com (pause—I could do an entire post on all the shoes I purchased from that site). They sell quality shoes at affordable prices.
Often times people will come up to me and say “Hey, I love your style. Where do you shop for your clothes?”. My response is generally “Everywhere” because the person may not really want know all the places. A few stores at best.
Well, truth is I do shop “Everywhere” but I am brand loyal to where I purchase my clothes. If I like your product, whether it’s a unique boutique, Goodwill or a designer store, I will patronize it forever.
Here are some of my favorite spots (in no particular order):
Nordstrom Rack has all the designer clothing like Free People, Michael Kors, DKNY and others for 50%-75% off. I found a pair of wide leg Free People jeans for $44.00. (How cool is that?) Plus their jewelry is DYNOMITE!!! (in my JJ from Good Times voice).
I have a favorite store in my hometown that I frequent quite often because I find some of the best 70’s maxi dresses. I visit the shop so much the owner gave me a honorary coupon for 20% off.
I generally shop Etsy online as a treat to myself. Some of their items can be a little pricey but the benefit is you receive a “one of a kind” outfit and you’re supporting an independent designer.
