Balmain Pre-Fall 2020 Menswear

Instead of the boxed shoulders, glitzy-glamorous embellished pieces that we expect to see from Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing, the Pre-Fall 2020 Menswear collection displays classic, timeless apparel that is gender neutral all the while offering the same level of sophistication.

“Streetwear is important, but luxury needs to be based on timeless pieces, not trends,” – Olivier Rousteing

Personally, I loved each piece but if I could imagine myself in a Balmain boutique and had to choose my favorites I would definitely select all the maxi length outerwear and the sequin jacket. Seriously though, have you ever met a Balmain collection you did not love?

Rochas Resort 2019

Do you like pockets? (random question). I certainly do and that’s the first thing I noticed about this collection other than the awesome display of maxi trapeze dresses with ruffles and opera coats. I am such a fan.

Antonio Berardi Resort 2019

This Resort 2019 collection by designer, Antonio Berardi is everything that is stylish in the world of fashion from the use of stripes, oversized smocks and the beautiful color yellow on the model’s gorgeous dark skin.
Designers truly set the stage for the upcoming fashion trends.

Martin Grant Fall 2018

The “Sophisticated Me” loves EVERYTHING about this collection even the model’s haircut. Her hair has inspired me as I am about to cut my hair…..(please don’t tell my boyfriend, though).

Anouki Tbilisi Spring 2018

The asymmetrical skirt in Look 1 is a “statement look” that would be perfect for any upcoming holiday events.
Although, this is the first collection from designer, Anouki Areshidze that has really “spoke to me”, she is definitely going to be on my “Ones To Watch” list going forward.
