Beauty is…………………….. This Vogue Arabia fashion editorial. 🙂
Modest elegance with a romantic twist is what I call Valentino’s Fall 2018 ready-to-wear collection. Let me just say when I first saw the video of the beautiful, floor length gowns gracing the runway (during NYFW), I was quite impressed. This collection is everything I love about fashion. Beautiful free flowing gowns that are reminiscent of the 1970’s.
I was so inspired by Pierpaolo Piccioli’s designs that I even looked in my closet and thought “Wow, I can actually recreate some of these looks!!”
Don’t be surprised if you see an #OOTD post that reminds you of this collection. 🙂
My soul went into a happy dance when I found out about this collaboration. Let me just give you some history as to why.
I have been watching the price of these boots for a while now and when I worked at Nordstrom (this past Christmas season), I did all kinds of mathematical equations in my head which included my 20% discount on how I could afford such a purchase for some rain boots.
Well, the wait is ova!!!! From what I hear, these “wellies” that originally range from $140 – $165/pair will now be a ridiculously affordable $40.
I am sending all kinds of positive vibrations towards this collabo’s way. The entire collection, which includes men, women and children will be available April 14th.
When life happens to people, why is your blog the first place that is affected? Why?
Anyway, instead of giving you a long and very boring explanation, just know I have been placing my focus on my instagram page @thebohemiancosmo. Why the name change you ask? I mean, shouldn’t all your social media sites be uniform? Yes, they should but I wanted to focus strictly on fashion and nothing else.
My instagram page @challebrown is a hodge-podge of pictures, style inspiration and even home and decor. It’s just me being random. My new page is a little bit more focused. It’s sorda like an artist evolving and testing the waters. #betastages
Anyway, my plan is to launch a YouTube page in conjunction with @thebohemiancosmo as sometimes people want to see the “true you” in pictures and on camera.
For your convenience, I have linked my new instagram page to this blog. Just click on one of the pictures (on the right hand side under (“Follow us on Instagram”).
Everything about this lookbook is super stylish and anytime I just want to endlessly stare at each piece individually, I go to the website for more info. (Seriously, don’t we all?)
Let’s just say when I saw the selection of designer apparel, I made of the most of the 10 to 15 minutes of my time daydreaming of what I would look like in each and every piece. #sigh ……….in my happy space.
As creative as Andre 3000 (one part of the rap duo Outkast) has always been, I am surprised that this is one of the first fashion collabo’s that I have heard about.
I could have totally been out of the loop on previous collections but I will say these Tretorns did not disappoint in the “fashionably chic sneakers” department.
The candy striped versions are calling my name.
The images are from Celine’s Pre-Fall 2017 Collection and I am totally inspired by each and every look.
With my boyfriend’s old sweater and my iPhone camera, I decided to pay homage to one of my favorite singers and style inspiration, Jody Watley by recreating her “Still A Thrill” album cover for Halloween.
