Style Star: Marissa Webb
One thing that I immediately noticed about fashion designer Marissa Webb’s style is how she always looks so classy but with minimum fuss. The same style she exhibits in her runway collections.
I have studied many people and their personal style and in my opinion to look effortless chic on a daily basis is a gift that is often imitated but never duplicated. Marissa definitely has “the gift”. 🙂

Hi-Low Sweater X Ralph Lauren Tribal Shorts
I saw somewhere online where denim shorts are called “Jorts”. Really???? You learn something new everyday.
Anyway, wearing shorts is no longer limited to summer months. I love wearing mines in the fall layered with cool stockings and thigh high socks.
I wouldn’t suggest wearing shorts or “jorts” on the coldest day of the year but when transitioning your attire during the fall/winter season, it’s PERFECT!!!!.

CB Style Corner: Layering Maxis
To me there is no wrong way to wear a maxi dress. I mean it’s about the easiest outfit to coordinate in your closet……simply slip one on, add a necklace and Boom, “You’re all cute”; however, during the fall/winter months, I try to layer my maxis to keep warm.
The easiest way I have found to layer a maxi (especially if it’s a summer maxi) is with tights and a turtleneck. You can add a denim or biker jacket with a cute knit scarf for added warmth or try complimenting the outfit with a faux fur for a more glamorous look.
The key is to keep the layers simple. No one wants to walk out the house looking like the “Abominable Snowman”. 🙂
